While under the supervision of the Licensed Directors (LMFT’s), the Registered Associate Clinician is responsible for providing clinically appropriate mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. The Registered Associate will assess, diagnose and develop behavioral health treatment plans to address client needs. Responsibilities and duties provided by the Registered Associate Clinician include: behavioral health education, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual therapy, family/couples therapy, group therapy, consultation, coordination of care, and case management.
The position is initially part-time with the potential to develop into full-time. Clinical pay rate set of $35-$40 per hour (DOE) with $15 per hour for administrative time. In person and telehealth capacity to see clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Education: Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or other related field.
● Licensure: Registered Associate number with the California BBS, unrestricted.
● Pass a background check.
● Member of a local professional organization (RECAMFT, NASW).

Experience:
● Bilingual in Spanish and English is desirable.
● Experience providing therapy to children is desirable.
● Experience providing counseling services to individuals, families, and/or couples.
● Demonstrated proficiency in Medi-Cal clinical documentation is desirable.
Specific Tasks/Duties Include:
● Work closely with clients and supervisors to assess client needs and provide clinically appropriate treatment, support and interventions.
● Behavioral services include but are not limited to: individual therapy, family/couples therapy, group therapy, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, behavioral health education, case management, support groups, and linkages to other resources.
● Provides case management support as necessary to ensure the client’s medical, mental for risk factors and provide appropriate crisis intervention as needed, able to
seek appropriate supervision.
● Demonstrates healthy and professional boundaries with clients and their support
systems.
● Responds to client and agency communications in a timely and professional manner.
● Accurately completes client documentation/records within required timeframes and
adheres to the applicable legal and ethical standards.
● Adheres to all ethical and legal standards as required by the profession, state and
federal regulations.
● Maintain confidentiality, while understanding and adhering to the limitations of
confidentiality (i.e. mandated reporting, danger to self/others).
● Actively engages in supervision and seeks additional support when needed.
● Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally
competent services and work effectively in cross-cultural situations.
● Demonstrates good judgment, decision-making, and strong written and verbal
communication skills.
● Demonstrates strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
