Specializing in Asian/Asian American Mental Health & LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care

Yellow Chair Collective (YCC) is looking for passionate, culturally responsive therapists to join our growing team. Our practice centers Asian and Asian American & multicultural mental health while also providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, teens, couples, and families.

Currently, we have priority openings for:

  • Mandarin (Mandarin or Cantonese), Japanese, or Korean-speaking bilingual therapists who are comfortable conducting sessions in both their respective language and English.
  • Therapists with experience working with Asian LGBTQIA+ clients (or have lived experience).
  • Therapists experienced in working with children, teens, and open to seeing families (hybrid to an office in Orange County or Los Angeles)

This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote therapy with in-person sessions available in Orange County or Los Angeles.

Compensation & BenefitsAssociate Therapists (ASW, AMFT, APCC, Art Therapist, PA)

We provide clinical supervision from experienced LCSWs, LMFTs, Psychologists, and ATR-BC supervisors.

Pay structure (based on weekly caseload):

  • 1-20 clients/week: $36 per clinical hour + clinical training & supervision + sick hours + 401K with matching (after 3-month probationary period) + annual raise for maintaining 18+ clients/week.
  • 21-30 clients/week: $41 per clinical hour + all of the above + medical insurance with HSA option + $500 annual educational reimbursement + eligibility for performance-based raises.
  • 31+ clients/week: $46 per clinical hour + all of the above + PTO + holiday pay.

Licensed Therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist, Licensed Art Therapist)

We are looking for therapists who specialize in working with children, teens, and families.

Pay: $50-$82 per hour (based on experience and caseload).
Must commit to seeing at least 10+ clients per week.
Preference for candidates with evening or weekend availability (PST).

Who We’re Looking For:

  • You are California BBS-registered (or a soon-to-be graduate of a Master’s program).
  • You are fluent in Mandarin Chinese or Korean and English (for bilingual candidates).
  • You have experience working with Asian/Asian American mental health concerns.
  • You are LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to culturally responsive care.
  • You are interested in opportunities beyond individual therapy, including family/couples therapy, webinars, training, community building, and DEIB consulting.
  • You can work hybrid (remote to start & in-person in LA or OC 1-3 times/week).
  • You have a HIPAA-compliant private space for remote therapy.
  • Asian/South Asian LGBTQIA+ clinicians are highly encouraged to apply!
