Harbor View Community Services Center in Long Beach has an immediate opening for our Quality Improvement Specialist position. The Center is an outpatient mental health program for children ages 5-21 in Long Beach, CA. We are contracted with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health to offer services to children with Medi-Cal in the South Bay area. We currently serve over 350 children with our combined services, including Prevention and Early Intervention services, field-based mental health, Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), Wraparound, and Full Service Partnership (FSP) programs.
The Quality Improvement Specialist assists the Quality Improvement Coordinator with the center’s chart audit process. The Specialist ensures that charts during and after the course of treatment meet regulatory standards; educates staff on proper documentation with the Center’s electronic health record system; inputs outcome measures data, and responds to medical record requests.

•Master degree from accredited school in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work.
•Must be registered as a MFT Intern or Social Worker Associate with BBS.

•Minimum one-year full time equivalent experience working with children in outpatient settings.
•Minimum one-year experience with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health documentation.
