Drew Child Development Corporation, a quality based agency devoted to the well-being of children and families in the South Central Los Angeles area, is currently recruiting for an accomplished Mental Health professional that will function as a member of the agency’s Mental Health Services ongoing treatment team.

Reporting to the Mental Health Services Clinical Supervisor, the Clinical Therapist / MAT Assessor will provide outpatient based (a) quality mental health psychological assessments of youth entering out-of-home placement, and (b) ongoing mental health services. The Clinical Therapist / MAT Assessor works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary mental health treatment team toward goal of providing efficient and prompt mental health service delivery.

The ideal candidate must have (1) a MSW or MA degree in the Social Services field; (2) a California BBS registration status; (3) at least two years of experience working with children & adolescents in a mental health setting; (4) experience working with African-American and Latino clientele. It is highly desirable that candidates have previous MAT program experience; and certification in evidenced based practice models (TFCBT, AFCBT, IPT, or Seeking Safety.)
