Job Summary
- Counsels and aids individuals requiring assistance dealing with substance abuse and mental health problems.
- AMFT or ACSW will work under our clinical director, an LMFT who can sign off on AMFT and ACSW hours.
- Hours Mon-Fri 9am -4 pm, Which is a 7hr work day
General Accountabilities
- Interviews patient on medical history or to obtain other pertinent information and evaluate the condition of the client.
- Formulates program for treatment and rehabilitation of client.
- Counsels clients individually and in group sessions to assist client in overcoming mental health issues and alcohol and drug dependency.
- Counsels family members to assist family in dealing with and providing support for client.
- Refers client to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling.
- Formulates and conducts programs to promote the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse.
- Prepares and maintains reports and case histories.

Job Qualifications
- Education: Masters’s degree
- Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures AMFT or ACSW
