- Provides direct and indirect services to clients.
- Provide individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy, both short and long term.
- Provide direct psychosocial services, including supportive individual counseling, crisis intervention, group therapy, and case management.
- Conduct intake evaluations and provide all case management services for those clients as needed until a primary therapist is assigned.
- Provide Offer of the Day (O.D.) and walk-in clients coverage as scheduled and perform necessary walk-in intervention, including, but not limited to, intake evaluation, support triage, support for involuntary hospitalization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFT Intern) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW).
- Must maintain current status as a licensed professional under California law.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a mental health setting. Community mental health experience desirable. Experience with the severely, mentally ill desirable.
- Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and be insurable by the Center’s auto insurance carrier.
- Must pass fingerprint clearance and pre-employment physical.

The Therapist will work in Supplemental Crisis but will provide support to the intake office. The Therapist will greet potential clients and complete screenings to ensure individuals meet specialty mental health services. The Therapist will assist in linkage to managed care plans, Tri-City’s Wellness Center for additional services and community resources.
