We offer the perfect part-time opportunity, with no health benefits, in a Private Practice for a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT Intern) under the direction of the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with the benefit of accumulating hours and professional development toward ultimate licensure. The perfect candidate will have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and be able to work on their own with little direct supervision. They must have the ability to balance their current employment while treating an average twenty clients per week. Our small Northridge Private Practice has a strong presence with Medi-Cal insured children, adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities are to conduct in-person individual, couples, and family sessions while evaluating their psycho-social needs. Weekly supervision consists of treatment planning and advisement. Monthly team dinners offer celebration as well as case conference.

Qualifications are a Master’s Degree from an accredited Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work Program offering an in-class education, not an online program. In-person therapy experience required along with some telehealth. Registration with the State of California BBS as a Registered Associate is required.

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
