Responsibilities/Description:

  • Conduct and complete client intakes / assessments for services
  • Provide individual / family / group therapy as needed / assigned
  • Provide crisis stabilization services as needed
  • Provide case management / psychiatry referrals as needed and appropriate
  • Work on-site until closing time as directed / required
  • Attend off-site meetings and assist in community outreach efforts as needed
  • Participate in Agency after-hours on-call during pre-assigned weeks
  • Provide direct services to clients and families until 8pm as assigned
  • Meet all established Agency / DMH / Licensing Board service and quality requirements for assigned clinical work (service rate, documentation standards, standard of care, EBP requirements, etc.)
  • Adhere to all requirements and guidelines from relevant licensing board for unlicensed clinicians and maintain current weekly records of service hours complete with clinical supervisor signature(s)
  • All other relevant duties as assigned

Education and Previous Work Requirements:

  • Bilingual Spanish: speak, read, write, and translate
  • Minimum school: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology
  • Minimum certifications/licenses: Must be California State Board-Registered as MFT-Intern, ASW, MSW or Waivered
  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of crisis intervention, community mental health and clinical treatment services for children/adolescents
  • Knowledge of government recording/documentation
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a valid California driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics’ liability policy
  • Ability to pass physical exam, TB test, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearance
