The Miri Center provides school based counseling services. We are looking for a clinician to work at alternative schools within Stanislaus County for the 2016-17 school year beginning in August 2016.
– The School Based Therapist/Counselor will provide individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, teacher consults, and parent consults at multiple alternative education schools within Stanislaus County. The candidate must be able to work independently as there is no direct supervisor on campus and must be able to collaborate and work effectively with the school team. The clinician must be either a licensed clinician (MFT, LCSW) or a registered MFTI or ASW, and must already have their masters or doctorate. Supervision is provided by a Licensed Clinician (supervision hours are unpaid) for MFTIs and ASWs. The work week will be 35 hours.
