Monte Nido & Affiliates, one of the leading treatment centers for eating and exercise disorders in the nation, is seeking a Primary Therapist for its Monte Nido Treatment Center location in Malibu, California.

A graduate-level clinical degree is required for this position. Applicants should also currently possess, or have the ability to register in California and seek licensure as a PsyD, PhD, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Prior clinical experience in either a residential or hospital eating disorder setting, and experience with insurance care coordination and utilization review, is preferred.

Job responsibilities include provision of individual therapy, group facilitation, family therapy, therapeutic meal and outing support, and coordination of care with other members of the client’s referring treatment team. Other job components include clinical assessments, insurance pre-certifications and ongoing utilization management, discharge and aftercare planning, and ongoing participation within a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Schedules may include day, evening, or weekend shifts.
