CALM has an immediate full-time therapist opening in Santa Barbara. The therapist will provide home visitation and center-based services to children aged 0-5 years and their families. The services are designed to address problems in early childhood mental health, due to abuse, neglect, problems in the parent-child relationship, or other social-emotional challenges. Training in evidenced based practices such as Child Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Parent Child Interaction Therapy, is preferred.
Requirements:
-Licensed MFT/LCSW/Psychologist, ASW, MFT Intern or Psychological Assistant
-Strong organizational and writing skills
-Some experience in therapeutic work with traumatized children and their parents or caregivers.
-Some evening work hours expected
-Valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and car
-Must pass Live Scan background check
