Soberguard Recovery is looking to for Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (BBS Registered MFTI) to fill a part time paid position in Woodland Hills. Intern will receive supervision from a licensed MFT and will be able to acquire hours needed prior to taking licensing exams. Intern will work directly with clients in a substance abuse detox/residential treatment environment. Responsibilities will include:
Completing Biopsychosocial assessments
Creating diagnostic formulations
Constructing treatment plans
Facilitating therapy groups
Conducting individual therapy sessions
*experience working with substance abuse is a plus, but not a requirement; all clinical experience and expertise will be considered
