The Youth Service Bureaus is a program of Urban Services branch YMCA of San Francisco. The Youth Service Bureaus have clinics in San Francisco, Pacifica, South San Francisco and San Mateo.

We are currently hiring for a full-time Clinician/Case manager to work both in a school based counseling position 2 days a week in San Mateo as well as a couple of clinic evenings also in San Mateo County. This position requires some travel to and from between school site and clinic as well as to supervision in the clinic each week. Much of our work focuses on issues surrounding adolescence and academic functioning, environmental and social trauma, grief and loss, health and safety, and community outreach. Strong applicants will have experience with case management, individual and family therapy, coordination of care services and crisis intervention. Diverse and bi-lingual candidates who have experience and are committed to work in a multicultural urban setting are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have experience working with youth and their families, be proficient in treatment planning, be able to meet deadlines, and possess competency in the legal and ethical standards of the field. Passion for youth work, charisma, and ambition are additional characteristics that would create success in this position.

Candidates MUST possess:

* Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences with a masters degree in Counseling or Social Work.
* At least 500 hours of experience working with youth and their families

* Experience in collaborating with other service providers to coordinate client care

* Be able to demonstrate a passion and dedication to working with clients from underserved communities.

The YMCA of San Francisco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and an outstanding retirement plan and gym membership. Compensation is competitive. This is a full time position and is at least 30 hours a week over 4 days, likely Monday-Thursday.
