Uplift Family Services is a statewide nonprofit that helps children and families. The agency is one of the largest, most comprehensive mental health treatment programs in California. Uplift Family Services takes a state-of-the-art approach to children and adolescents with complex behavioral health challenges and helps them recover from trauma such as abuse, severe neglect, addiction and poverty. For youth that exit our programs, over 90% are living in the community, staying in school, and remaining out of trouble.

The Clinician provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community including in the homes of families. This Clinician role is responsible for ensuring documentation and maintenance of clinical records are completed per appropriate standards and regulations and provides facilitation and support to enhance the efforts of youth and their families/caregivers in the design and implementation of evidence based treatment. This position will work directly with children and teens aged 0-20 who are struggling at home, school or in the community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree (MA/ MS) in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling or a closely related field. One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children is required.

Program Specific Qualifications:
Must be registered with the BBS as a MFT (Marriage and Family Therapist), MFTI (Marriage and Family Therapist Intern), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or a ASW (Associate Social Worker).

Be eligible to register with the BBS and\ obtain registration within 30 days of hire (proof of submission of registration packet must be provided),
