Job Title: Counselor at our Medication Assistant Treatment Program
Schedule: Full Time – with Full Benefits
Counselors see patients for individual and group sessions Monday through Friday. The Clinic opens at 5:30 a.m and closes at 2:00 p.m. during the week. Weekend hours are 6:00 a.m. to Noon.
Location: Janus Community Clinic
An evidence-based approach to the treatment of opioid use disorders
Work with a great team of professionals!
Creative and dynamic work environment
Manage a caseload of up to 35-40 adult patients
Provide ASAM treatment assessments, treatment planning, counseling (individual) and case management services
Qualifications:
-Counselors must be certified or have active intern status. Janus does provide supervision for MFT and CSW interns
-Experience in medication assisted therapy a plus.
-Demonstrate an understanding of the pharmacology and physiologic effects of methadone.
-Working knowledge of applicable portions of Title 9, CARF requirements, and Title 22.

-Cognitive and intellectual capacity to comprehend and administer organization & Clinic policies and procedures.
-Personal and intellectual ability to collaborate and organize effectively, understand and work with complex systems, provide professional leadership to the multi-disciplinary team.
-Complete required documentation in a legible and timely manner.
-Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in language that can be readily understood by the majority of the Clinic’s patients, staff and funders.
-Ability to effectively perform job responsibilities in a high stress environment.
-Ability to utilize efficient, productive work habits
