Anka is looking for a fulltime Mental Health Clinician (Unlicensed). The position will be part time at Casa Rohnert Park and part time at an outpatient clinic in Vallejo serving adults and adolescents with mental health and / or substance use disorders. Some weekend work will be required. BBS registered Interns (ASW and MFTi) and Postdoctoral interns) strongly encouraged to apply.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Casa Rohnert Park is a Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) Program that supports the needs of adults recovering from a behavioral health crisis. Unlike programs that are held in a psychiatric unit or hospital-like facility, Casa Rohnert Park provides a safe, home-like environment. A maximum of six individuals are served at any given time as they participate in a highly structured recovery program and work with a team of specialists who help them resolve the behavioral or emotional issues associated with their crisis and give them the tools necessary to help them work through future challenges and re-integrate back into the community.
Hope Solano in Vallejo is an outpatient clinic serving adults and adolescents with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Clients are referred from the county or managed care.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the Unlicensed Clinician is responsible for program services and programming offered to participants. Responsible for implementation of program and all services offered to participants referred to the program. Responsible for quality assurance of charting, documentation of all services, and provision of services. Some of the responsibilities of the Unlicensed Clinician will be providing individual, group and family therapy, discharge planning, staff supervision and training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: Professional License: California license either as a Clinical Psychology, LCSW or MFT, or registered intern. This is an excellent position for registered interns to receive clinical supervision and gain hours for licensure. We strongly encourage MFTi and ASW to apply. Crisis Residential experience preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in mental health and / or substance use work; at least two (1) years in a community-based mental health setting; one (1) years’ experience in administrative supervision. Experience in crisis residential treatment is an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid CA driver’s license in good standing with proof of current auto insurance. Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Med/TB clearance.
