La Ventana Treatment Programs, located in Thousand Oaks & Santa Monica, California was established in 2008. A privately held behavioral healthcare company with both mental health and substance abuse divisions, we offer a warm and friendly work environment for staff and are proud to have manifested significantly positive outcomes in changing people’s lives. We are passionate about working to help others get the help they need to live their best life possible. We are currently seeking part time MFT Associates and licensed clinicians for our growing adult substance abuse programs as well as our teen and adult mental health programs. Our candidate needs to have a passion for working with these populations.

Responsibilites:

Perform assessments and implement individual preliminary treatment plans
Conduct individual, couple/family, and/or group psychotherapy sessions
Completion of clinical charting
Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries and related issues
Desire to participate as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
Requirements:

Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or social science
Licensed by or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW, MFT, Associate MFT, MSW, or by the Board of Psychology as a licensed Psychologist
Experience with substance abuse and/or mental health populations
Training in evidence-based practices preferred
Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff
Strong communication skills
