Psych Assistants or MFT, SW interns needed to work day shifts at a residential detox, treatment center for substance use disorders and dual diagnosis. Monetary stipend plus clinical hours for licensure will be provided. Pay will be contingent on experience. Job description includes writing reports, filling in forms, interviewing, facilitating group and individual therapy and clinical note taking. Therapists in training will gain experience in clinically and empirically based treatment modalities for substance use disorders and co existing mental disorders that commonly occur with SUDs. Case management, group supervision, electronic record keeping, and participation in outreach events will also be included in training.
