Night Shift On-call Associate Clinician/Therapist (AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, ASW)

Position Summary
Freise HOPE House is currently looking for on-call night shift (11:30 pm-7:30am) $25.00 / hour. Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Night Shift On-call Associate Clinician, assesses guests’ needs and develops customized treatment plans. The Night Shift On-call Associate Clinician plans, organizes, develops, implements, and evaluates all the activities related to care, operational function, and communication throughout facility. The Night Shift On-call Associate Clinician is responsible for the guest care delivered within the House.

Professional development opportunities include:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a modified cognitive-behavioral treatment that is the only Evidence-Based Practice to prevent suicide
  • Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). WRAP is a self-help, recovery treatment system designed to decrease symptoms, increase personal responsibility and improve quality of life
  • Suicide prevention training
  • Pro-act curriculum offers professionals the skills needed to reduce or avoid restraint
  • Training on assessment and treatment plan development
  • Clinical supervision to obtain hours toward licensure

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Registration with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
  • Ability to maintain client dignity and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work non-regular hours required.
  • Previous experience in mental health preferred.
