Private Practice Clinical Supervision Opportunity with Dr. Courtnay Meletta

Dr. Courtnay’s practice is launching into a mental health lifestyle brand called re:treat. Re:treat will house a somatic and integrative approach to take therapy ‘off the couch’ with the use of six mind-body medicines: community, nature, music/art, movement, mindfulness and volunteering serving as the pillars of experiences curated to engage clients beyond the therapeutic hour.
Position Overview:
We are excited to offer a CA Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) or Registered Associate Social Worker (ASW) that is nearing licensure the opportunity to join our team and gain valuable supervision hours towards licensure with the potential for an offer for a permanent position. As an AMFT, APCC or ASW, you’ll have the chance to work with a diverse client population under the guidance of Dr Courtnay Meletta LMHC, LPCC and PhD in Mind Body Medicine. This role is designed to provide you with mentorship, growth, and a platform to refine your therapeutic skills. This role is currently remote and in-person.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions under Dr Courtnay Meletta’s supervision.
- Collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and goals tailored to their unique needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans through the use of Simple Practice software.
- Attend weekly individual or triadic supervision meetings with Dr. Courtnay Meletta to discuss cases, receive guidance, and enhance your clinical acumen.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Uphold ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality.
Importantly, this job will require you to be a self-starter
Qualifications:
- Current registration and number as an AMFT or APCC in California.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Dedication to continued learning and professional growth.
- Responsible and organized.
