We are hiring compassionate and experienced Substance Use Disorder Counselors to work with our clients at The Camp! This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nurturing environment for our clients. We need highly organized and efficient counselors to provide treatment to compliment our co-occurring track and assist clients in their recovery from addictions such as alcoholism, drug addiction, or other behavioral problems.

Hours – 40 hours per week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*This position is a combination of 50% Counseling/Case Management and 50% documentation. So it requires someone with excellent organizational skills.*

•Conduct individual counseling sessions and group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.
•Responsible for initial assessments, individual treatment plan, and any follow up assessments.
•Provide case management duties for client, ensuring individualized quality care.
•Ensure all documentation regarding client care, treatment and incidents are completed timely and in a clear concise manner.
•Provide crisis intervention to client as needed.
•Act as a liaison with insurance carriers as requested.
•Provide support to clients and families for aftercare planning.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
•Credentialed SUD Counselor
•Bachelor’s degree in social or health services field. Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
•Students in MFT and Social Work Masters programs. We provide group and individual supervision and a path
to become a Co-Occurring Therapist once Master Programs are complete.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
•Licensure or certification for counseling, as required by the state.
•First Aid, CPR, de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
