Overview
We are seeking an AMFT or APCC to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about SUD and mental health treatment, possesses strong clinical skills, and is eager to grow professionally in a supportive setting. This role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, focusing on behavior management and skill development.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including case management responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment outcomes, and any relevant clinical research findings.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing training to enhance therapeutic skills.
  • Provide support and guidance to families, helping them understand treatment goals and strategies for home implementation.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy and special education.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active registration with the California BBS as an APCC or AMFT (or equivalent for other states).
  • Familiarity with coding systems such as DSM-5 for accurate documentation of diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A compassionate approach to therapy that respects diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
