The Hope Street Family Center (HSFC) was established in 1992 as a community program of California Hospital Medical Center. The Mental Health Clinician provides high quality outpatient mental health services and in-home counseling for children and their families. He/she will be supervised by a licensed clinical supervisor in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. He/she will display professional skills in diagnosis and assessment, case management, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and utilization review. The Mental Health Clinician will provide outpatient mental health services in the form of individual, child and family therapy, groups, and home-based child welfare services. He/she will operate in accordance with all regulations and standards of the State of California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners, the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Child and Family Services.
