You will have the opportunity to build your own schedule, marketing brand, clinical style, and networking plan. Focus will be on both personal and professional growth, aiming for full-time private practice.

Individual as will as group supervision will be offered.

Compensation: Fee percentage split depending on training, experience, and caseload.

Associate must be motivated to market and network. I will provide some referrals, and lots of support on learning the business development piece, but I want you to learn to grow your own business!

All applicants must be able to hold a minimum of 10 clients at all times with an interest to grow to full-time.

This position will start in October 2021

I work primarily with teens and adults. Experience and/or interest in at risk youth and teens is a plus. Bilingual is a plus.

GUIDE counselor

GUIDE (Greater Understanding through Intervention, Diversion and Education) is a psycho-educational, group and individual counseling program for Carlsbad elementary and middle school students funded by the Carlsbad Police Department. Referral Process: Teachers, counselors, school psychologists, principals and parents identify students who need additional support. At each school site, a staff person serves as a liaison to the GUIDE counselor to ensure all necessary paperwork is signed for counseling to begin. Hours are flexible, M-F, during school day. Supervision Tuesdays from 1-3. $25.00 per hour.
