Seeking an associate clinician (AMFT/ACSW) to join my private practice in Pasadena, CA (Virtual/telehealth). Clinician must be a registered associate in the state of California.

My practice specializes in working with high achieving successful adults who seem to have it all together on the outside but on the inside struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma and other emotional concerns with little support to lean on, High achieving teens and young adults struggling with launching into their next phase of life.

I am looking to hire 4 eager, willing to learn, culturally sensitive associates with strong competency in working with African American backgrounds and clinical competency in the POC experience.

*Looking for a highly motivated, self-starter and must be able to take initiative on navigating their own schedules as clients are assigned, has strong desire to learn and grow in becoming a stellar competent clinician, shows interpersonal strength, clinical skills and some training in a therapeutic modality or interest in a specialty, or willing to grow in these areas. In addition to working with mainly adult clients, interest in working with teens or couples is a plus.

I will provide clients, however patience to build a case load is needed as we are a private pay practice. Hours will be low to start and will build as caseload builds. You will receive clinical support and clinical supervision, as well as trainings.

Must be available during the weekdays for group supervision and meetings at least 3-5 hours a week.

Pay: $35-$40 an hour. Must be available to work 15-20 hours a week, hold a minimum of 10+ clients, leaving an additional 3 hours available for paid supervision and meetings.

∞ Applicants who are in need of 1500-2500 clinical hours toward licensure are ideal and a good fit.

∞ Applicants must be an approved registered associate with the Board of Behavioral Services before able to begin work. If you are in the process of waiting for your associate approval you may apply but please know you will not be hired until you are fully registered. (Must show proof)

∞ Applicants who are employed in a separate private practice or are a part of another group practice are not a good fit.
