A. Qualifications:

  • MFT/LCSW registration required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min of 2 years of experience in Dual Diagnosis
  • If in sobriety, min of 5 years clean
  • Some clinical experience with trauma-related disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse disorders
  • Works well in teams/cooperative
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records system
  • Pass a LiveScan background check & TB Test

B. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the clinical functions of Ohana Recovery Center residential program
  • Collaborates with therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists and nurses
  • Provides individual, group, milieu and family therapy to residents
  • Conducts psycho-educational groups
  • Develops case conference updates, individual treatment plans, and provides clinical information regarding residents at weekly treatment team and staff meetings
  • Completes all necessary documentation to maintain resident health records
  • Develops individual treatment goals, objectives, and interventions
  • Provides crisis intervention as needed
  • Supports residents in activities of daily living
  • Assists and supports in utilization review
  • Perform other duties as necessary
  • Provide weekly availability to Program Director for group and individual therapy schedules.
  • Report directly to Clinical Director

Supervision is Available for all Associates

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 – $140.00 per hour

Associate MFT.

Part time paid position, approximately 20 hours per week working with substance abuse clients, providing in-person individual and group psychotherapy.  Supervision and Substance abuse training is provided.  Associates must have transportation as the work schedule rotates between two locations, Malibu and the west San Fernando Valley.
