The Bilingual Social Worker for Youth and Families is part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinical professionals providing mental health services to children and their caregivers with a family systems approach. Specialty populations include foster and adopted children, those being raised by relatives, and children 0-5 population. The Bilingual Social Worker will participate in the daily provision of services to clients within the program through assessment, diagnosing, direct mental health therapy and case management functions in a family systems, strength-based model. The Bilingual Social Worker will provide therapy services at the program site and in the community, including hospitals, schools, and family homes.
“My program stands out because of the amazing amount of expertise and generosity of all of my coworkers. My clients are some of the most inspiring and resilient humans, and their small progresses, as well as my privilege at being a small part of their lives, make it all worth it.”
-Seneca Employee, Social Worker
Seneca is always looking for ways to actively empower and uplift traditionally marginalized communities. We are honored to lead a nationwide effort, Todo Por Mi Familia, a campaign to find and connect families who sought asylum in the United States to mental health services. Seneca’s agency-wide DEI Advisory Board, Employee Resource Groups, and Language Practice Groups help our employees provide culturally and linguistically relevant services to the families we serve.
