PRIMARY THERAPIST/GROUP THERAPIST
Engage Treatment Program operates Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for children (10-12), adolescents (12-18) and young adults (18-25) from our Westlake Village office. Engage Treatment/Engage Therapy is clinician-owned and clinician-led, striving to provide the highest quality of clinical care to our local community. We are excited to meet candidates for the open position of Primary Therapist in our child and teen programs. At Engage, we strive to create a compassionate, growth-oriented work environment where all staff feel well supported by our licensed staff.
WHAT DOES A PRIMARY THERAPIST DO?
Engage Primary Therapists co-facilitate both curriculum-based and process oriented group therapy as part of one of our Intensive Outpatient Programs treating Children (10-12 years old), Teens (13-17) and young adults (18-25) suffering from mood disorders and/or anxiety that requires more than outpatient level of care. Primary therapists also facilitate weekly outpatient groups as well as individual therapy for a caseload of 5-10 individual clients outside of treatment program.
Primary therapists help bridge the gap from the child’s group environment to other internal treatment team members, as well as providing parents with weekly updates on their progress in treatment. As part of the Engage Treatment team, you will be supported by our competent and compassionate supervisors and leadership.
