Responsible for reviewing all master treatment plans completed by care coordinators, give feedback for corrections to comply with Medi-Cal standards. Train staff in appropriate documentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Review all treatment plans written by care coordinators.
Consults with superior on a regular basis to keep her/him up-to-date on program performance and needs related to documentation and training, including problem cases and concerns found during documentation review.
Facilitates regular meetings with care coordinators either one-to-one or in a group for training and review purposes.
May also provide direct client care as assigned, which may include individual, family, group therapies, discharge planning, and phone contacts to parents and referral sources, and may include completion of treatment plans.
Coordinates with outside clinicians, medical director, and/or nurse regarding client treatment issues, professional consultations, or medication evaluations.
Attend county documentation trainings and other required trainings regarding documentation standards.
Participates in program staff and planning meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or relative field, or Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Must be a license eligible as an LCSW, MFT or licensed by the appropirate Board as a Clinical Psychologist to practice under supervision.
