Matrix Institute on Addictions is an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility in the Inland Empire. We are currently seeking both full and part-time MFT Interns. The MFT Intern will be responsible for intakes, leading group therapy, and individual therapy based on the Matrix Model of treatment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate adult drug/alcohol treatment groups and individuals.
Conduct intake assessments.
Coordinate and review treatment plans and goals with clients on a monthly basis. Maintain client charts with progress notes, drug tests, and other information.
Assist with drug testing clients.
Must be comfortable working with the criminal justice population. Will attend court conferencing on Friday mornings.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Morning and Evening shift available.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, MFT and or other related fields
Must already have a current MFT Intern number. We will not accept applicants without an intern number.

THE PROGRAM Juvenile Drug Court (JDC) in San Diego County works in close collaboration with multiple public and private agencies using a national best practice model. Judges of the Superior Court, the offices of the Public Defender and District Attorney, Probation Department and Vista Hill’s Juvenile Drug Court (JDC) Program work closely with each enrolled teen.
