Sanctuary Treatment Center is currently looking for Group Facilitators for our addiction treatment center in Tarzana and Encino!
The Group Facilitator is responsible for motivating residents to engage in, and participate in all elements of the treatment process, including but not limited to, education groups, treatment planning, individual counseling, and understanding the disease process.
Primary Focus:
- Run process, psycho-educational, 12 step and other groups
- Create content on various topics
- Chart on groups in EMR
- Conducting Assessments as needed
- Conducting Case Management as needed
- Attend meetings as needed
Qualifications
- AMFT, ASW, APCC or must be certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor by one of the approved organizations (CCR, Section 13035(0).
- At least one year of experience in running/leading therapy groups, family groups, psycho-educational groups, and individual counseling/case management.
Hiring Requirements:
- Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
- For the mental health program additional requirements include receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
*Please note: Renewal Health Group is subject to the new state vaccine mandate for all healthcare workers. As of September 30th, all employees must be fully vaccinated, or if you qualify for an exemption you will need to test twice a week.
