BAPTI is hiring!
BAPTI is a non-profit organization founded almost 30 years ago. We provide supportive, high quality training to pre-licensed psychotherapists while providing sliding-scale therapy services to clients in local communities in the SF East Bay and by telehealth throughout California. You can learn more about us at www.bapti.org.Please note that, although 100% remote work is completely an option at the moment, we continue to strongly prefer hiring local associates with the hope and plan to go back to in-person supervision and in-person sessions when appropriate.
BAPTI is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome diverse applicants and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for employees as well as for the clients we serve. Applicants who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, those with disabilities, and other therapists who are committed to serving a diverse client population are encouraged to apply.
BAPTI as a private practice incubator
BAPTI employs a rotating cohort of eight pre-licensed therapists and we hire continuously to fill upcoming vacancies, which occur when current staff become licensed and transition into private practice. We seek exceptional applicants who possess a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or another appropriate degree from an accredited university program. Our Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Associates and Associate Clinical Social Workers have a passion for helping the community while developing their skills as a therapist in private practice.
BAPTI utilizes a private practice model that provides training and support for pre-licensed psychotherapists and guides them in developing their clinical skills as well as marketing and managing their own practices in preparation for licensure. We also have a school-based program that supports therapists in creating alliances with schools and accruing additional hours toward licensure, while supporting young people in our community.
