As a Field-Based Clinical Therapist for Wraparound in Modesto, California, you’ll work closely with a diverse team to provide support and care for high-risk children and families.  While working in the field, you’ll deliver direct therapeutic treatment to children, youth, and families in their home, school or a community setting. YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As a Field-Based Clinical Therapist in Modesto, California, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and implement care plans as the clinical leader of a therapeutic team.  As part of this team-based approach, you’ll work closely with youth and family partners, social workers, and others to provide therapeutic care to clients struggling with behavioral health and mental health issues. Participation in after-hours on-call on a rotating basis allows you to provide immediate support to a child and family in crisis. You will receive a stipend for each week you are on call.

While keeping current and accurate records (which includes Medi-Cal and non-Medi-Cal documentation), you’ll see that the therapy provides the support necessary for the child and family to grow and succeed. You will meet with families around their schedules, so some days may begin when school starts, while other days may end around dinner time.  You’ll adjust your day accordingly. Depending on your career interest, supervisory and program management opportunities are available as you develop your skills.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

If you have a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field, and are registered with the BBS as an AMFT, ASW, or APCC, with a minimum of one year experience working with high-risk youth and families, apply today.  You will have the opportunity to gain group and individual clinical supervision hours as a registered AMFT, ASW or APCC.  This is a great opportunity to use your experience and broaden the impact you have with children, families, and communities.
