Dear Prelicensed followers and supporters,
Over the past two years, we have managed to accomplish so much – from posting over 3000 job listings, to generating valuable blog articles, to developing other useful features. We want to keep growing and offer more value to you, the MFT registered interns, trainees, and students who have helped make this service what it is today.
That’s why I’m thrilled to announce our partnership with TrackYourHours, another valuable service many of you already use! This partnership goes beyond a simple affiliation: Prelicensed and TrackYourHours will be combining forces in order to provide even more support to the MFT community.
Prelicensed has been, and will continue to be, a free resource. TrackYourHours will make it possible for us to improve upon existing features and develop additional features further down the road. TrackYourHours will continue to offer its amazing service, and will team up with Prelicensed in order to offer even more value to its subscribers. I will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of Prelicensed, while also working with TrackYourHours‘ owner, Eric Evenson, Psy.D., on further developing his service.
As always, I welcome any questions or feedback you may have via e-mail. My commitment to Prelicensed remains steadfast, and I can’t wait to celebrate Prelicensed‘s two-year anniversary with all of you on September 1. We have an exciting third year to look forward to!

TYH touts the access to this ‘service’ as a perk of membership, but the website has a three-year out of date registration, and only a few jobs listed in a major metro area like the SF Bay Area — what am I missing? This doesn’t seem to be an actively maintained or used service.

Prelicensed is a free resource that is available to all associates, trainees, and students in California! Visitors are not required to have a paid subscription to TrackYourHours in order to access our services. Prelicensed is promoted by TrackYourHours because many of their subscribers are (understandably) interested in finding paid positions while earning their hours toward licensure.
I can assure you that Prelicensed is actively maintained and utilized by thousands of users each year. New job listings are always being added to Prelicensed, and many users choose to set up job alerts in order to save themselves even more time and ensure timely notification of those new job listings when they are posted. While it’s true that many job listings are for opportunities in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, etc., it’s not uncommon to find opportunities for more remote areas of California as well.
