Creating Lasting Change from Within
Currently interviewing for an enthusiastic Associate (AMFT or ACSW) eager to develop their clinical skills within our thriving private practice in Hermosa Beach. We seek a self-motivated individual with a passion for learning and growth, residing locally with a keen interest in building connections within our community. Previous experience in individual and couples therapy, particularly operating from a psychodynamic perspective, is preferred.
This role offers the opportunity to cultivate a specialized niche and explore new orientations. While we operate from a psychodynamic lens, we also incorporate EMDR and Internal Family Systems into our work. We serve individuals and we treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and perfectionism. We also treat couples coming to work on communication, intimacy, or reducing conflict.
This is a unique position designed to start you off with referrals given to you and progress towards generating referrals to build your own private practice. You will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of marketing your practice, from a previous business marketing executive and be supervised by the Associate Clinical Director at Airport Marina Counseling Service and adjunct professor at Antioch University and Pepperdine University.
The successful candidate will demonstrate engagement, curiosity, motivation, flexibility, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Expectations include maintaining 20-25 client hours weekly, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend sessions. The commitment to this position is a minimum of 1 year.
We’re seeking top-tier clinicians who embody our strengths-based approach and share our dedication to excellence. Please check out our website to gain insight into our private practice.
Immediate availability for qualified candidates; position commencement upon selection. Feel free to submit your background to email@example.com.
