Serenity Zone Behavioral Health is a premier mental health facility in Encino, CA, dedicated to providing holistic and evidence-based treatments for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Our services include PHP, IOP, and an upcoming residential program in Sherman Oaks. We integrate therapy with wellness services such as yoga, acupuncture, nutrition, and massage to foster healing and recovery.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychodramatist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience using psychodrama techniques to help clients explore emotions, process trauma, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate psychodrama sessions in both group and individual settings.
• Utilize role-playing, guided imagery, and dramatic enactments to support therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and wellness practitioners to provide integrated care.
• Adapt psychodrama techniques to suit clients’ needs within PHP and IOP programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and client progress.
• Contribute to a supportive and healing environment for clients.

Qualifications:

• Certification or formal training in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy.
• Experience working in mental health settings, preferably in PHP/IOP programs.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and expressive therapies.
• Ability to engage clients in a dynamic and creative therapeutic process.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed mental health professional (LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, etc.) preferred but not required.
• Experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma.
