About the Practice:

Located in Redondo Beach, this private practice provides comprehensive mental health services with a strong focus on holistic and integrative care. Position Overview:

The private practice is seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join the team. This opportunity is ideal for an associate-level clinician who is looking to gain experience in a private practice setting (no insurance, Superbill only) while receiving supervision toward licensure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing client-centered, trauma-informed care and eager to work in a collaborative environment that values both personal and professional growth. This role requires initiative, as you will be responsible for marketing and building your own client base. Please note that this practice operates on a private pay basis, and a steady stream of referrals will not be provided on a continuous basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual therapy to clients under supervision
• Maintain a consistent caseload with clients from various backgrounds
• Document client progress and complete treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care for clients
• Participate in regular supervision and training opportunities
• Maintain professional and ethical standards as required by CAMFT and the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay up to date with best practices

Qualifications:

• Current registration as an AMFT in the state of California
• Completion of a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field
• Strong interest in working with clients struggling with anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues
• Experience with or interest in holistic and integrative therapeutic practices (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Passionate about personal growth, both professionally and as a therapist
• Commitment to inclusivity and culturally competent care
