Evolving Paths Therapy is a private practice providing Teletherapy since 2022 and is looking to expand by adding an Associate Marriage and Family therapist to the team. The founder, Abbee is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist and has been providing therapy for the last 6+ years. She provides a multitude of different therapy modalities like Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Evolving Paths invites Associates to explore different modalities to develop clinical skills to see what orientation fits best.

Evolving Paths Therapy is seeking a part-time Associate-level therapist (AMFT), who wants to build their own caseload while collecting hours in preparation for licensure. The Associate Marriage and Family Therapist will apply evidence based behavioral health practices to provide clients with interventions, support, or advocacy and will ask questions and be open to feedback during weekly supervision. Client caseload for this position may be slow, with the expectation that the associate will build and maintain a minimum of 15-20 client sessions per week. To start, this position may rely on out of pocket clients as the supervisor gets the right candidate credentialed with certain insurance companies in order to get referrals for caseload.Position Responsibilities

  • Provide Teletherapy to adult individuals and couples, while following legal and ethical guidelines and practice policies
  • Manage client scheduling for own caseload
  • Complete clinical documentation in EHR within 24 hours following the end of each session, including notes and treatment plans
  • Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 15-20 hours per week (Ability to do more)

Position Requirements

  • Must have a Masters degree in counseling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Current AMFT registration through the California BBS
  • Experience providing therapy to adult individuals
  • Interest in working a minimum of 15-20 or more client hours per week as caseload increases
  • Effective and professional communication
  • Ability to manage time wisely and stay on top of administrative work
