Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (ACSW, AMFT, or APCC)

Position: AMFT, ACSW, APCC

Flexible hours (ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN PROVIDE A MINIMUM of 4 FULL DAYS per week)

Pay: From $35 hourly

Our mental health center is seeking AMFT, ACSW, or APCC. Our center offers PHP, IOP, and outpatient services for all ages and specializes in family therapy. You will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic services through individual, couples, family sessions and group therapy. You will be responsible for diagnosing, setting goals, providing case management and interventions, discharge summaries and other documentation required by clinical director. We will provide you with supervision and client contact hours for the BBS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered associate in the state of California (MUST HAVE ASSOCIATE NUMBER) and be able to work in a private practice setting.
  • Desire to learn about family therapy and provide services
  • Experienced in writing clinical documentation
  • Experience and confidence applying evidence-based practices and interventions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to understand and comply with the Company’s mission and culture and able to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff and clients in all circumstances
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to relate with all persons from various socioeconomic and cultural groups
  • Must have a newer, working computer in order to access our EHR platform
  • Must receive criminal record clearance from the state, have current TB test, health screen, first aid, and CPR certification

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete individual counseling sessions and facilitate groups sessions using evidence-based therapy and documenting promptly
  • Carry a caseload of individual clients assigned to you
  • Be available to parents who have questions about their child’s progress etc.
  • Provide case management to clients and their families
  • Evaluate and monitor client progress
  • Complete all documentation with competence and in a timely manner set forth by company standards
  • Attend weekly clinical team meetings
  • Ability to facilitate groups as needed
  • Work as part of a team to provide care to clients
  • Other duties as required by the Clinical Director and executive team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
