Website Professional Child Development Associates
Work directly with children with disabilities and their families while receiving supervision toward your clinical license! Professional Child Development Associates (PCDA) is seeking a registered Associate MFT or Social Worker to work full-time, using play therapy to help children with disabilities and their families engage, communicate, and manage their emotions and behaviors together (co-regulation). This position will also help facilitate our Young Adults Program for 18-22 year olds, supporting self-advocacy, vocational discovery, and independent living skills. We use the “Floortime/DIR” model, a D*evelopmental, I*ndividually-tailored, R*elationship-based approach that focuses on emotional attunement to help parents connect with their kids, build communication, work through and prevent meltdowns, and develop higher thinking skills. This is a 2-year training position, offering supervision, training, and opportunities for professional growth.
