Inclusive Psychological Services

About Us: We are a small group dedicated to providing accessible and affordable therapy services to our community. Our practice serves a diverse clientele, POC and LGBTQIA+, offering support to individuals through private pay and various insurance plans, including managed Medi-Cal, IN-network and OUT-of-network coverage, and CA Victims of Crime.

Position Overview: We are seeking motivated associates who are interested in building a private practice. This role is ideal for those looking to develop their caseload with the support and referrals from our team. While the position is insurance-based, associates must be self-driven and capable of marketing and advertising their services to maintain an active caseload.

Unlike community mental health clinics, clients are not automatically assigned; the goal is to guide you toward establishing a private practice. You will be responsible for networking and actively recruiting your clients. We will provide referrals when available.

This position is perfect for therapists seeking additional hours and requiring schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a minimum of 15 weekly client appointments, with the expectation to build your caseload within 3 months.
  • Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plan, progress notes) within 48 hours of service in our electronic record system (EHR).
  • If interested, and if clinically appropriate, learn to complete immigration evaluations (VAWA, U-VISAS, Hardship, Asylum)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) or the Board of Psychology (psychological assistants).
  • Ability to provide culturally informed, LGBTQA+ affirmative psychotherapy services.
  • Minimum of 500 hours of client experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written, oral, and public communication skills.
  • Must maintain professional liability insurance.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to market and advertise services to maintain an active caseload.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work independently.
  • Be available for group supervision on the first Friday of each month and triad/individual as scheduled.
  • Must be willing to see clients in-person (office based).
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but optional.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Clinical supervision is provided in group, triad, or individual settings.
  • W-2 employment status with competitive compensation
  • Paid sick time.
  • Flexible schedule/hybrid options when feasible.
  • Opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge in insurance procedures and credentialing, Electronic Health Records (EHR), documentation (reduce your anxiety on audits, establishing medical necessity, etc), advertisement and marketing skills, preparing you for future private practice management.
  • Upon licensure, the opportunity to transition clients to your private practice if they choose to continue with you.

How to Apply: Please submit your resume/CV.
