We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to provide community mental health services in a hybrid setting. This position is primarily telehealth, with occasional in-office services when clinically necessary.

The AMFT will provide psychotherapy services to individuals and may work with couples, families, and groups depending on experience and program needs. The clinician will work under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional and will receive individual and group clinical supervision.

Compensation: $50 per client/contact hour
Schedule: Per diem with flexible scheduling
Setting: Hybrid – primarily telehealth with occasional in-office services as needed

Responsibilities include:

• Provide individual psychotherapy and other assigned community mental health services
• Conduct sessions primarily through telehealth, with in-person services when clinically appropriate or required
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain an assigned caseload and coordinate care when appropriate
• Participate in required individual and group clinical supervision
• Consult with the clinical supervisor regarding risk, safety concerns, treatment planning, and other clinical needs
• Maintain client confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries
• Follow applicable ethical, legal, organizational, and California BBS requirements
• Participate in case consultation and clinical meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Current California AMFT registration in good standing
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or another qualifying mental health field
• Eligible to accrue supervised experience toward California licensure
• Comfortable providing psychotherapy through telehealth
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while appropriately utilizing clinical supervision
• Interest in working with diverse community mental health populations
