About the Practice

Graft and Blossom Therapy is a growing outpatient private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. We foster a collaborative, supportive environment where pre-licensed clinicians can build a diverse caseload, deepen their clinical skills, and comfortably earn their required hours toward full licensure.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated, empathetic, and dedicated Associate Therapists (AMFT, ASW, APCC) to provide individual, family, or couples therapy. In this role, you will manage a client caseload while receiving consistent, high-quality clinical supervision and administrative support so you can focus primarily on client care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and treatment planning.
Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, EMDR, Trauma-Informed Care).
Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation (intake reports, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries) in compliance with HIPAA and legal/ethical standards.
Participate actively in weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision.
Manage client crisis situations and risk assessments with supervisor support.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, or a related field from an accredited university.
Licensure: Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC in good standing.
Liability Insurance: Active professional liability insurance prior to start date.
Skills: Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills. Comfort using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Ethical Standards: High commitment to professional ethics, client confidentiality, and culturally responsive care.
