Associate Therapist Position — Hermosa Beach & Virtual (Hybrid Role)

Responsibilities

• Associate Therapist in CA
• Experience providing therapy with adult individuals and couples
• Passionate about supporting hopeful, expectant, and new parents. Must be interested in pursuing a specialization in perinatal mental health
• Experience providing psychotherapy services using a psychodynamic orientation
• Build up to and maintain a caseload of at least 15 weekly clients
• Provide in person (Hermosa Beach office) and Telehealth sessions to clients
• Work at least one evening a week from 5 pm – 8 pm and/or one weekend day for at least 4 hours
• Work at least one day in person at our Hermosa Beach office
• Commit to working with the practice for at least 18 months with the understanding that you are still an at-will employee
• Be comfortable networking and marketing to grow your own caseload
• Maintain all legal, ethical, and administrative responsibilities in accordance with practice policies
• Preferred: Completed training in EMDR, EFT/Gottman, Perinatal Mental Health, and/or a child or parenting therapy modality

• 40% starting split for hourly client session (regular raises based on caseload, performance, additional experience/training received, and time at practice)
