Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Therapist (AMFT, MFT, ACSW, or CSW) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mental health treatment and a commitment to providing high-quality care to diverse client populations.

Responsibilities

• Receive regular clinical supervision hours toward licensure in compliance with BBS requirements.
• Engage in weekly group and/or individual supervision with a licensed supervisor.
• Address both substance use and underlying mental health conditions through integrated, evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of service delivery, in accordance with state and payer regulations.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions within the IOP, typically 3–5 days per week, 3–4 hours per session.
• Manage client intake and ongoing discharge paperwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, treatment planning, assessments, and coordination efforts.
• Provide crisis intervention and high-risk event management as needed.
• Participate in regular supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in accordance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

Experience

• Must be registered with the California BBS as an AMFT, MFT, ACSW, or CSW.
• Demonstrated experience in substance use treatment and/or co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on IOP scheduling needs.
• Proficiency in EMR systems; experience with KIPU is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus.
• Strong foundation in clinical counseling and patient-centered care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and interdisciplinary team members.

Pay: $38.00 – $39.00 per hour
