Therapist / Social Worker – Licensed or Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to quality clinical care in a comfortable, private, residential detox and treatment program for adults struggling with drug and/or alcohol use issues. This role involves providing individual and group counseling, implementing therapeutic interventions, and advocating for clients’ needs with loved ones, which may include family therapy sessions. You will work closely with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote positive outcomes, develop recovery skills, knowledge enhance, overall well-being, and partnering with clients to address the underlying drivers of their behavioral and mental health problems. Must complete a work physical, TB test, and be open to drug-screening.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients’ emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Implement therapy techniques, including motivational interviewing, crisis management strategies, CBT, DBT, Family Systems Theory, Trauma Informed, etc .
  • Conduct assessments and collaborate in providing effective and compassionate, client-centered care.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and develop comprehensive treatment plans and discharge planning.
  • Provide resources and referrals to clients for additional support services as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
  • Participant in clinical meetings as well as individual and group supervision, if applicable.

Experience

  • A degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field is required; Associates or higher is preferred.
  • Experience in mental health counseling or residential treatment settings is highly desirable.
  • Skill with individual/group counseling methods.
  • Knowledge of client assessment and treatment evaluation SUD is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain boundaries with diverse populations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
